Sunrise Track is located in the Ruahine Ranges in Hawke’s Bay. It is a family friendly track which is pretty safe in most weather conditions. This is an easy walk on a well maintained track. The walk is almost entirely up-hill and will take about 2 – 3 hours or about 5 hours return. I’m sure some super-fit people could reach the hut in an hour if so inclined!
There is so much to do in Townsville, and better still there is a lot to do that is free, yep that’s what I said FREE! There is military history to explore, as well as, indigenous, civic and the history of Townsville women, to name but a small piece of Townsville history. The Strand has a water playground and there is a free swimming pool. Art galleries, street art, a free movie night and plenty of walking trails.
Hong Kong is not know as a budget destination, however there is a multitude of things to do that are free, or at the very least cheap, that makes visiting Hong Kong viable even for the most budget conscious travellers. The Peak look out, museums, street art and yummy dim sum… Hong Kong does have cheap ways to explore!
