Free camping at Burra Creek Gorge also known as World’s End Gorge. Dogs, fires and generators permitted. Drop toilets and rubbish bins. Things to do!
Warren Gorge camping in the Flinders Ranges. Cost $15 per night per vehicle. Drop toilets, dogs allowed, fires allowed, walking trail.

Port Adelaide has been transformed into a giant, outdoor gallery as result of the 2015 and 2017 Wonderwalls Street Art Festivals. Wonderwalls is a 3-day mural festival that has been held in Wollongong and Port Adelaide (Australia) several times over the past few years.
Port Adelaide has many well preserved 19th-century buildings, in fact, Port Adelaide has one of the best concentrations of colonial buildings in South Australia. In 1982 a considerable part of the town was declared a State Heritage Area. We were not sure what to expect from visiting the “City of Adelaide” and came away from our visit marvelling, not only at the clippers colourful history, but at the structure of the ship and the extraordinary time in which it was made.
The largest railway museum collection of paraphernalia, exhibits and artefacts in Australia. There are over a hundred exhibitions displaying not only South Australia’s railway history, but that of Australia and the private operators also. Heaps to entertain children including free train rides!
When you walk into the museum’s main hangar and see the aircraft you’ll know what I mean. What a display! There is over 100 years of aviation history to explore and I think you’ll love every minute of it! Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or historian; a child seeking to enjoy the day out with mum and dad…. or simply a parent attempting to entertain the kids, this museum is for you.
